THE 4J’s
WEB: FACEBOOK.com/4J’s
BIO: Founded just three short weeks ago, The 4J’s have taken their unique brand of original music to the masses with staggering results. The band didn’t expect much when they first took to the stage at the beginning of this month. In fact, they were unsure of their musical abilities or if anyone would show up at all. “We started as a lark,” proclaims singer/guitarist Juxtaposition J, “but now it’s obvious this is something people have gravitated towards. You always want to be respected for your passion. And with The 4J’s – in just three short weeks since we played our first show – we have that.”
Though most young bands have a difficult time engaging their fans, The 4J’s upbeat sound and energetic delivery has fans hooked and – seemingly – singing along from the get go. “The first time we played,” remember bassist/singer Jihad J, “in the beginning of October, 2011, it was crazy. Two songs into our set and people were singing along. Almost like they had been spying in on our practices or something. It was amazing.”
