aXis magazine was founded as the entertainment section of the UCF Future on the University of Central Florida campus in the summer of 1994. After six months of campus-exclusive entertainment and nightlife coverage, the section expanded to a regional monthly magazine format. Having distributed 25,000 issues each month since January of ’95, the brand boasts an unparalleled relationship with the active young adults of the Central Florida community. With a readership of the active, young Central Florida adults, the magazine strives to entertain and enlighten through cutting edge interviews and features with intriguing personalities from music, film, sports and regional media.
