ABOUT AXIS:
aXis magazine was founded as the entertainment section of the UCF Future on the University of Central Florida campus in the summer of 1994. After six months of campus-exclusive entertainment and nightlife coverage, the section expanded to a regional monthly magazine format. Having distributed 25,000 issues each month since January of '95, aXis Magazine boasts the title of oldest and most prominant entertainment resource in Central Florida.

With a readership of 18-34 active, young adults, the magazine strives to entertain and enlighten through cutting edge interveiws and features with intriguing personalities from music, film, sports and regional media. Published by UCF alumni Sean Perry and Rick Wheeler, aXis also produces and programs the annual Florida Music Festival and FMF Compilation disc featuring the finest in unsigned music from around the state. As well, in the Fall of every year, aXis hosts the UCF Homecoming weekend in Downtown Orlando with the UCF Alumni Association and Church Street Entertainment. Affiliated as the official magazine for Clear Channel Orlando and more specifically, Real Rock 101.1FM, XL106.7FM and Real Radio 104.1FM, aXis offers a multi-media approach to entertainment marketing.
